Key Duties Performed: Accounting: Set-up files for new clients, and manage multiple files simultaneously. Obtain and review files and documentation from clients. Preform accounting services as needed, including bookkeeping, establish charts of accounts and prepare journal entries for posting, correcting journal entries (when required), collect data for capital asset acquisition and disposition, and maintain capital assets continuity schedules. Summarize current financial status and prepare balance sheet, profit and loss statement, other relevant reports, and tax returns. Analyze client financial reporting for accurate and appropriate recording of revenues and expenses. Prepare correspondence outlining facts and highlights from the engagement to be communicated to the client. Prepare T4 forms and tax returns Assurance: Obtain and review documents from clients and from third parties. Perform accounts receivable, accounts payable, payroll, and capital asset acquisition and disposition walk-throughs with the client.
