I do have more than 20 years experience in global product development in the automotive industry. My main field of experience in in the project management in the prototype and powertrain business. I did gain knowledge in the planning and execution of prototype test- and build activities, budget control, various manufacturing processes including rapid prototyping technologies. Quality control including tactile and non-tactile metrology techniques belong to this as well. The recent year lead me into a project management position for powertrain integration, which provides a further in depth view into detailed system development processes and the product launch in mass production.My professional career not just made the work with teams around the globe a daily business, it also provided the opportunity to work in various countries in- and outside Europe. This includes a 3 year assignment in Brazil, where I introduced a department based on European standards, but tailored to the local business needs. Having this successfully done and see it still working today is certainly one of my biggest achievements.Being in a management position since 13 years, I am used to lead multinational teams up to approx. 90 people distributed over two workshops.
