During my period at DAF trucks I have been developing the software of the Vehicle Intelligence Center. This main ECU of the truck is responsible for gathering all sorts of information and informing the truck driver of hazards. My job was to build an architecture for the software. Also, I have written many requirement specifications on the operations of the truck.- Specifying, documenting and spreading coding guidelines for software development. Support software engineers in using the coding guidelines.- Analysis of extensive CPU load in cooperation with ECU supplier. Recommendations were made to decrease CPU load.

Ik ben gewend op gestructureerde en procesmatige wijze kwalitatieve (IEC61508, SIL3) embedded software te ontwikkelen. Het analyseren en opstellen van requirements, het maken van een design, coderen in C (MISRA) en het specificeren en uitvoeren van unit testen zijn o.a. mijn werkzaamheden geweest.- In multidisciplinaire teams gewerkt aan diverse hoogwaardige en veiligheids kritische automotive embedded software projecten. Ik ben eindverantwoordelijke geweest voor een electro-hydraulisch stuursysteem van een vrachtwagen. Hierbij had ik veelvuldig internationaal contact gehad, zowel op technisch als sales niveau.- SIL3 framework ontwikkeling voor gebruik op embedded automotive microcontrollers.Detailed design en implementatie van SPI driver. Opstellen en uitvoeren van unit test specificaties.- AUTOSAR Basic Software Module development.Design en implementatie van Flash Memory abstraction layer.- Freescale S12 target development used for rapid prototyping with Simulink. Ontwikkeling van een development framework met hardware drivers en debug omgeving voor het genereren van C code uit een Simulink model en het model runnen op target.- Research to decrease CPU load of a power steering system.Specialties: Automotive SPICE / ISO 15504, MISRA, HIS, AUTOSAR, IEC 61508
