I am proud to have completed two Master’s degrees within one year and eight months—one in Effective Pedagogical Practices in Hybrid Modes in Higher Education and the other focused on Sustainable Education through the lens of Generative Artificial Intelligence (GAI). This fast-paced and enriching academic journey has allowed me to deeply explore the evolving intersection between education and digital innovation, equipping me with a unique perspective on how technology can transform learning environments.Throughout my academic journey, I have cultivated a curious research interest in AI and GAI within the education sector, specifically focusing on Higher Education. My work is centered on exploring how these tools impact the learning process, their effective use in academic settings, their adoption and integration by students and educators, and the potential implications of their widespread use. With the rapid advancement of GAI tools like ChatGPT and Copilot, my aim is to uncover how these innovations can enhance educational outcomes while addressing critical ethical and pedagogical challenges.In 2025, I will embark on a PhD journey that builds on these research interests, delving further into the role of AI and GAI in shaping the future of education. My work will contribute to a deeper understanding of how digital tools can be harnessed to create sustainable and innovative educational practices, particularly in the context of higher education in Africa.
