Part of the renowned Leibniz Institute for Neurobiology - Center for Learning and Memory Research In collaboration with the University Magdeburg, the University Jena, and the University Hospital Jena I am conducting a supervised clinical study on the sense of agency and obsessive-compulsive disorder to understand its psychopathology and develop novel and alternative treatments for patients suffering from OCD.

Additionally to my psychology major I'm part of the men's soccer team. This gives me the opportunity to develop my leadership skills as well as my teamwork skills. Playing as a goalkeeper demands a lot of responsibility. My personal goal is to be successful in soccer and school, which leads to a strong working mentality and provides physical and mental health.

Born in Germany I started my soccer career early and went through the FC Carl Zeiss Jena soccer academy. I had the opportunity to compete in the german youth national teams, which was a great personal experience. In the last years I was part of the men's soccer team, where I played with guys that are much older then me. During the internship as a sports psychologist for the FC Carl Zeiss Jena soccer academy I worked on the following projects: - creating and elaborating a sports psychological concept for academy goalkeepers - training and supervision of the goalkeeping coach of the academy- individual counselling of the junior goalkeepers - final intervention proposals for future sports psychologists of the youth academy center My mentor during the whole time is a trained sports psychologist with a lot of experience. This provided me the chance to learn and develop skills in the field of sports psychology. It was an amazing experience to work with young adults and children and help them going through important stages in there life. As a sports psychologist for young people your focus is not just on the athletic development, but also on getting a responsible and social adult.
