About Stefan Schmierer

In 2020, I became Managing Partner of Ravenscroft & Schmierer, a full-service law firm in Hong Kong, with a focus on providing high end legal services to international clients in business, tax and contract law, as well as employment law, matrimonial cases, probate matters, litigation, mediation, arbitration, as well as criminal law. Furthermore, our corporate services department offers tax and audit, as well as company secretary services.Based in Hong Kong since 2009, I am a qualified German lawyer, and was admitted as a solicitor in Hong Kong in 2017. Previously, I led the German desk as a partner at another leading law firm and also worked at an international law firm in Nuremberg, Stuttgart and Beijing, China. Before moving to Hong Kong, I completed a vocational training with a German bank and obtained a law degree (LL.B.) from the University of Regensburg, Germany and an LL.M. from the Indiana University Robert H. McKinney School of Law.
