Starting out in 1998 as a media encoder and DVD author in The Netherlands, I worked my way up through to Graphic Designer / motion designer for DVD menus while authoring titles. Before moving to Australia in 2006 I worked in various job positions both full time and part time. Blu Ray was relatively new at this moment in time and was a new skill achieved.Leaving Film and Tape Sales behind to search for more graphic design / video editing work to improve my skills and work experience, my next jobs were at Negotiator Magazine (Preparing ads, pages and graphic design), and then Unilever (Preparing ads, Point of sale, designing signage & billboards)Next I joined a maritime company called Sydney Harbour Tall Ships, where I didadvertising, video editing and graphic design, photography, marketing strategy. Creating new concepts for themed tours on the ships, help create graphics for the website and also do event photography.I think this was by far the most fun job I gained a lot of experience at.After Tall Ships, I searched for more video and graphic design roles and did a lot of freelancing with my own equipment and set ups at home, which was mostly motion graphics and info graphics, until I came across an ad for a media technician at Silvertrak Digital, where I still work today almost approaching my 10th year at the company. (2014 to 2024) In those 10 years I expanded my skills in video editing / motion graphics as well as learning new ones. I also do contract work in my spare time for VR Dojo on a virtual reality game called Dust Virtual Combat.I am ready for my next adventure, bringing with me the experience and skills learned along the way,
