Currently working at Lysander, I have gained extensive experience in all aspects of the role of a Building Surveyor and focused mainly on the commercial sector.During my time at university, I learnt the fundamental skills and knowledge necessary to succeed in a building surveying profession. As repair manager at Crawford & Co gained experience compiling dilapidation/condition surveys, reviewing building designs, alteration costs and building proposals. I also learnt how to communicate issues to clients and contractors in order to rectify problems and find solutions. I succeeded in this role primarily because of the experience I gained whilst working at Brambilla Ltd. Having experience in both surveying and construction, I have a better understanding of the possible obstacles and how to rectify complex issues. Added to my academic achievements and experience in construction, for the last 7 years I have organised charity events for both the Pickering drop in centre in Tunbridge Wells and MHR (Mental Health Resource). These popular and successful events have become well regarded and have raised much needed funds.
