Dr Stefan Arnold is Managing Director and Principal Consultant at BPC Arnold GmbH BioPharma Consulting. Key Skills: Scientific background, analytical comprehension, versatility, leadership, organization and motivation.The consultancy was founded by Dr Stefan Arnold in April 2014 to provide customers in the biopharmaceutical field with individual support in process development and project management. His in-depth expertise in biopharmaceutical development enables individual project valuations for a proper portfolio implementation or licencing . He is pioneer and expert in the field of biosimilar CMC development. Dr Stefan Arnold acted as Chief Scientific Officer and member of the executive board at InstrAction GmbH Mannheim from 2012 to 2014, responsible for product development and manufacture of novel agent-specific (both chemical and biolological agents) multimodal chromatography matrices as well as implementation of such matrices in (bio-)pharmaceutical manufacturing processes. Until 2011 he was employed as Head of Process Development, Project Valuation and Project Leader at BioGeneriX AG, which he co-founded in 2000. He was responsible for process development for four successfully EMA-licenced biopharmaceuticals. He operated as Head of DSP from 1999 -2000 at Merckle GmbH, Ulm, as Acting Head of Protein Chemistry at Pharmacia & Upjohn Diagnostics in Freiburg from 1997 to 1999. Prior as Senior Scientist in the autoimmunity field at Elias GmbH, Freiburg from 1995 to 1997.Dr Arnold is author of numerous scientific publications and holds 5 patents in the biopharmaceutical field.He is member of the advisory boards of the University of Applied Sciences Mannheim and Hochschule für Technik und Wirtschaft Berlin.Dr Arnold received his PhD in Physiological Chemistry from the Theodor-Boveri-Institute, Würzburg in 1994.Besides German (native ) he has further knowledge in English (fluent in spoken and written) and Italian (good basic in spoken and written).
