Working across the Scotmas Group, including Scotmas Consumer Solutions and Pyramid Travel Products. My key role is to build and maintain long lasting, profitable relationships with our customers. I operate as the lead contact for all new leads and existing customers taking them through from a lead to sale close.Key responsibilities include: • Identifying and pursuing growth opportunities• Day to day management of accounts• Working closely with Marketing and Chemists on the development of new products• Attending Trade Shows• Liaising between departments to ensure the needs of all customers are metI took a pre planned 4 month break to volunteer in Nepal at the end of 2019. Following this I spent time working in the production department to assist in the manufacturing of Hand Sanitisers to due to the huge increase in demand caused by the Covid-19 outbreak alongside my regular duties.

The internship consisted of gaining a full overview of the banking operations in Dhaka with an emphasis on their corporate customers and products. A key part of the internship was working with the wholesale department which involved finding potential clients as well as performing certain due diligence procedures on the organisations and carrying out client visits. Other aspects of the internship involved gaining an overview of the import and exports with the International Trade department and spending time with customers in both corporate and retail branches of the bank.

During the 10 week placement my main task involved the creation, organisation and the moderating of focus groups for the business in order to identify a gap in the market to release a new product as well as gain valuable feedback on the current product. This also involved collecting primary and secondary research from local bars and online to gain a comprehensive view of the local gin market. A secondary duty from the placement involved beginning the implantation process of a specialised CRM system into the organisation.
