An outsourcing project for a digital media company based in New York.Started with managing a development team in 2020, with development, UI/UX and QA positions. As a technical account manager I was responsible for managing the relationship with several services suppliers that were used by the development teams.My responsibilities included:- Identifying the suppliers that Betfair were using and the ones for Paddy Power and help to chose the best ones for the same functionality- Organizing the suppliers by the services they were offering, the importance to the company, the expiration dates of the contracts, the prices for their services and other categories- Having regular meeting with the suppliers with the frequency and topics set according to the supplier's importance and the company's needs- Monitoring the contract expiration dates and acting according to the needs for the contracts that were due to expire- Defining and negotiating the technical aspects like SLAs and KPIs, in the new and extended contracts- Seeking to get the best prices for the services- Communicating with the critical suppliers to get the needed level of service availability and support during high importance events- Asking for implementation and customization of certain functionalities and monitoring the progress on the supplier's side.

Worked on several projects, mainly ASP .NET with C# as code behind, but also ASP .NET with VB, ASP, Silverlight, Windows applications, WPF, ColdFusion. Almost all Data Bases used were MSSQL, and some Oracle and MySQL.Besides software development, my responsibilities also included:- Defining the specifications, by understanding the clients’ needs, asking questions, identifying possible problems and mismatches and resolving them- Creating screens with controls and actions; class diagrams and workflows- Defining tasks and assigning them to the developers, taking into consideration the task’s difficulty and the developers’ skills. The tasks were created as detailed as possible and prioritized. When necessary I’ve also explained the tasks to the involved developer(s), ensuring that they understand what needs to be done- Creating test plans for functional testing- Functional testing- Creating the data base structure- Code review- For the web sites I’ve done deployments on both QA and production servers. I was responsible for installing and configuring the needed software, for copying the code and the data bases and for ensuring that everything is working properly after the deployments- Interviewing some of the potential employees- Training the new developers with the used technologies and software, and monitoring their work and progress.
