I'm a 2x Olympic athlete and a Health professional with degrees of BSc in Nutrition & Health and MSc in Global Health. I have an extensive educational background in nutrition, dietary and physical activity counseling/coaching, health promotion, physiology, anthropology, sociology, epidemiology, and other health-related subjects.I also have a combined +1 year of internship or practical experience in different organizations, working and helping with physical education, health literacy, clinical research, sports talent development, and country exposure fieldwork.Throughout many years of concurrent professional sports and university education, I have gained invaluable real-life experience and developed strong skills in managing logistical aspects, productivity, and organization. Professional sports have also taught me to understand and thrive in many different cultural settings and work in cooperation with many different people. During my time with Dual-career, I undertook various independent projects linked to health, sports, product design/production, sales, and more. A couple of examples include: • As a specialist in health, training physiology, and nutrition, and with practical experience in sports and coaching, I worked with an Ecuadorian sports club for my Bachelor's thesis. I developed a tailored talent development framework for coaches, addressing setting- and age-specific needs. This framework has been used by the club ever since to educate coaches in an evidence-based approach to coaching, considering developmental, athletic, and psychosocial aspects for various age groups in the specific setting.• For 2024 I am going to be a part of Team Denmark’s Mentorship Program for Athletes, where I will be mentoring younger elite athletes. In this program, I will be able to use my knowledge, skills, and experience from my athletic and professional educational background to help athletes develop crucial skills such as goal setting, time management, and positive habit creation. My professional background can also support elite athletes with knowledge in sports nutrition or help athletes dealing with difficulties with diet, relationships with food or weight management. I'm excited about opportunities where I get to help and support people achieve their goals in life.
