I am responsible for overseeing the academic resource center, which includes Library Services, the Teaching and Learning Center, and Information Technology, an office I continue to directly manage. My role is primarily to support the Darlington faculty, so I also coordinate other programs including professional development, curriculum development, and learning space development.

Advised the student yearbook, consisting of one class and one after-school activity. Taught students writing, photography, design, and publication management skills. Taught classes in Web Design, Desktop Publishing, and Photojournalism. Currently teach A.P. Computer Science.

I am responsible for developing, planning, and executing technology policies, systems, procedures, strategic plans, and projects for the entire school. I manage a staff of six other people in the major areas of desktop support, network management, database management, and technology integration. I also continue to manage and develop the school's Web site. Major projects have included creation of the School's Web site, including custom content management system; custom student information system and learning management system; direction of the School's program to make technology an integrated part of our classrooms and operations; implementation of a 1:1 device program for students and teachers.

Overhauled the School’s Web site, moving it from a static information site to a database-driven site, including sections for the master school calendar, athletic schedules and results, alumni event registration, and e-commerce store. A gallery system was also created allowing employees to post photos to the Web site in numerous areas and associate them with any member of the School. This resource has become the most popular area of the site.Overhauled the School student information system, moving it from a home grown dBase application to a Web-based, SQL Server system. Detailed grade books, attendance, comments, homework/classwork assignments, and discipline were standardized for the first time across the entire School and made editable by employees and viewable to students and parents.

Created Darlington’s first Web site, which was primarily an admission-driven site. Though much of the site consisted of static pages, some areas such as alumni class notes and an archive of new stories was data-driven.Wrote stories, photographed, designed, and edited Darlington’s parent newsletter published ten times a year, which grew from 12-pages to 16 pages. Also managed the press release program during my first year. Managed projects and designed over 300 printed publications per year, ranging from business cards to a full-color, thrice yearly magazine, which at its largest was 80 pages.
