About Stefan Giegucz
My name is Stefan Giegucz and I am a Loyola University Chicago Quinlan School of Business Alum, where I received my BA in Business Administration with a focus on Sports Management. After graduating from Loyola, I went back to receive my Masters degree from West Virginia University, with an MS in Sports Management focusing on Interscholastic Sports Management. At WVU I completed my degree with a 4.0, was awarded an award for being the top student in my class, and helped start the WVU Sports Leadership & Development Association.My career journey has been spent pursuing a position in Athletic Administration and Basketball Coaching at both the Collegiate and Interscholastic levels. In my current role in the Athletic Department at St. Mark's School, I have been able to transform the position of Head Athletic Equipment Manager into a position that helps out more with the day to day operations of the department. In addition to my role, I have coached multiple sports at the varsity level for both men's and women's programs. Prior to my time at St. Mark's I spent time on the support staff at Loyola University Chicago's Men's Basketball program as Video Coordinator and Head Student Manager. Once leaving Chicago, I spent two years at Algonquin Regional High School where I coached both Men's Basketball and Track & Field. Additional, I have been accepted to the NBA's prestigious Future Basketball Operations Stars Program.In my path to become an Athletic Administrator, I have received my RAA Certification from the NIAAA and have been an active member in the NIAA, MSSADA and IADA, while also serving as an Athletic Department Intern in college at both Algonquin Regional High School and Loyola University Chicago.
