Tasked with taking alarms from multiple alarm monitoring stations and dispatching guards across three counties to the alarm, this was a fast paced job that taught me many great skills in areas such as management and personal time keeping. Having to cover emergency shifts, reschedule guards work orders, and having to take over jobs myself were just some of the challenges i had to find creative solutions to. Due to the nature of the business there were shifts that would require a none stop fast paced work ethic, having to reach 10+ alarms within a short space of time, utilising tracking information from mobile guards, other more local firms, and cttv software were some of the skills i developed to gain my experience as a control room operator.
