A Talent and Business Operations Manager is responsible for managing the People and Operations aspects of a specific Sephora store location. This includes direct management of any members of the People and Ops team. An SP, Talent and Business Management regularly exercises discretion in areas such as staffing of the store, cast training and education, on-boarding of cast, cast schedule management and overall execution of Sephora operation standards within their store. SPs are accountable for the development of all members on the People and Ops team within their store and for leading that team to achieve and exceed company objectives.

• Merchandise product to drive units and sales at a high velocity.• Ensure store visuals are met at all times including preparing floor layouts.• Identify store needs by using and analyzing sales reports.• Execute strong operational efficiencies and standards.• Develop business to business relationships within stores vicinity in order to drive sales.• Recruit staff by using a variety of recruitment strategies.• Develop all employees by training and coaching.• Responsible for exceeding comp sales and sales plans.• Ensure customer interaction expectations are met.• Responsible for effectively managing a high-volume of units in order to ensure that shrink goals are achieved and losses are minimized.• Maintain a high level of product knowledge.• Hands on working knowledge of retail systems, HR best practices and operations.
