I have completed my higher studies in a scientific school where the two core subjects were Chemistry and Biology.Graduated as a physiologist at the University of Aberdeen.Currently I am working as Senior Support Assistant at health and social care department of the Aberdeen City Council, prior to this position was working for the NHS administration team, gaining experience in dealing with vulnerable people, face to face, through phone calls and emails which helped me mastering my communication skills.I have also strengthened my problem-solving skills adapting my self to any situation coming up with quick solutions to resolve issues in work environments.Been improving my computing skills throughout these years, operating on Microsoft office daily to update and maintain records of data.Highly concerned and aware about confidentiality and the procedures used to deal with sensitive data.I have recently completed the Scottish Mental Health First Aid course, obtaining the certification of a mental health first aider, which has been beneficial in providing more support to those vulnerable subjects that not only have physical disabilities but are also affected by mental health illnesses such as depression and anxiety.
