Stefani is a practicing Somatic Yoga Therapist in Calgary, AB, Canada, offering 1:1 Somatic Yoga Therapy and Group Therapy Sessions. Her unique background in somatics, embodiment, bodywork, and yoga therapy created the foundation of the work that she now offers after more than 23 years in practice. She is an educator, a storyteller, and a community weaver who has lived a rich and fulfilling life as a mother, educator, and therapist. She has previously owned 2 yoga studios and now conducts her private practice within the Lakeview community in Southwestern Calgary. She is the creator of Embodiment Yoga, Somatic Yoga Therapy, Integrative Thai Yoga Massage, and the Somatic Rest Program. As an educator, she mentors future Yoga Therapists in the practice of Somatic Yoga Therapy, through her school, Mandorla Yoga Institute in a three-year specialized program. She is on the faculty of the Integrative Somatic Studies Institute in Vancouver, BC, Canada where she facilitates training in the year 1 and 2 Somatic Therapy programs. Stefani is a passionate advocate for the creation of neurodivergent-affirming spaces and is a thought leader in the development of training for practicing therapists in neurodivergent-affirming practice.
