Since I was a little girl, I have been deeply fascinated by horticulture and the natural world. Helping my beloved grandma in the garden sparked this passion in me, and as an adult, I started growing my own vegetables and flowers. I have realised that this brings immense happiness to my life, and as a result, I am now pursuing a degree in Horticulture from Nottingham Trent University. In 2023, I was fortunate enough to win a coveted work experience opportunity with English Heritage at Brodsworth Hall and Gardens. During my horticulture course, I developed a keen interest in plant propagation, plant science, and designing with plants. Currently, I am working as gardener to support my family and my university studies. All of my experiences have further strengthened my resolve to build a career in the plant science, plant production, and agronomy sectors of the industry.
