After graduating in 2023 from the University of California-Davis with a double major in Wildlife, Fish, & Conservation Biology and Managerial Economics (Business Emphasis). I moved overseas to Germany to begin my career, expanding on my business knowledge, elevating my language skills, and maximizing my dual citizenship. As a member of the marketing and product management team at Gerriets, a market leader in theater and stage equipment, highlights of my work included compiling a research report on the company’s sustainability practices and being integral to the launch of their new website. After a year in the corporate world, I realized how much I miss wildlife, ecology, and research, leading me to pursue my master’s degree at the Freie Universität Berlin, studying Biodiversity, Evolution, and Ecology (Fall 2024).
