I am a Registered Early Childhood Educator and an active member of the College of Early Childhood Educators. I have obtained a Masters in Education, as well as a Diploma in Early Childhood Education and a Bachelor of Applied Arts in Child Development Degree. I have 5+ years accumulated experience working with children from 0 to 12 years in camp settings, child care settings and school settings, as well as having the opportunities and skills to program plan, lead children through routines and build relationships.I have strong verbal and written communication skills that have been used extensively with co-workers, families, peers and professors. In addition, I have 5+ years of relevant work/ volunteer and academic group work experience, leading to the development of excellent teamwork skills. I have well-developed problem solving skills, organizational skills, time management skills and the ability to effectively work independently, as well as a member of a team. Furthermore, I have excellent research skills, analytical skills and critical thinking skills. I have strong computer skills and am proficient in MS Word and PowerPoint, and have extensive knowledge in the use of Internet, email and research databases.My Vulnerable Sector Screening is complete, as well, I am First Aid and CPR trained through Canadian Red Cross which is valid until 2016 and possess Level One Certified Coach (with children). I am certified by Hanen in the Learning Language and Loving It program for Early Childhood Educators; and also certified in the Reaching In…Reaching Out (RIRO) Program.
