Purchase to Pay (P2P) process was partially outsourced and centralized. Accounts Payable operations was outsourced to a 3rd party service provider for all invoice processing and an online tool for invoice approval and confirmation was implemented accros Europe. Rollout started in Germany as a pilot and was continued to the rest of Europe. Standardized processing, reporting, payment calendars was implemented, users were trained, change management. Purchasing was also centralized and standardized. My function was focused on the AP area, but also as a contact and coordinator between purchasing, accounts payable, management and users in our own company and IT.
