During my PhD I worked with haematopoietic stem cells in mice. I mainly used Flow Cytometry, Immunofluorescence and qRT-PCR to investigate the behavior of haematopoietic stem cells under stress conditions. Apart from that I gained experience in data analysis using FlowJo, ImageJ, Prism and different tools for gene enrichment analysis. Furthermore I had the chance to supervise a medical doctoral thesis, giving me an insight into leading and supervising other people.
