As Director, I act as a liaison between company partners, program managers and service members to achieve a level of understanding about what our fellows bring to the table as they make the transition from active service to the civilian workforce. The skills that they acquire while serving are not always easily translated. My goal is to educate both non-veteran employers and transitioning military members to come to an understanding of what opportunities the other may present to move forward with success. I manage a team whose sole purpose is to ease the transition by presenting information and resources that will assist their corporate fellows to gain the knowledge needed, coupled with their years of experience to move into their next professional position. As a 25 year military spouse, I understand the challenges that our service members face upon transition. I work to ensure that they, who have given so selflessly for our country are given the best opportunities for success in the next phase of their career.
