Dedicated to advancing healthcare through research and medical expertise in IBD, the clinical microbiome, and infectious disease.As a passionate and results-driven researcher with a focus on inflammatory bowel disease (IBD), the clinical microbiome, and infectious disease, I am committed to contributing to the advancement of healthcare solutions that positively impact global well-being. My journey began with a degree in biomedical science from where I continued on to study medicine. My schooling provided me with a strong foundation in both theoretical knowledge and practical skills.Throughout my career, I have actively engaged in both clinical and laboratory-based research, exploring diverse facets of biomedicine. My interdisciplinary background allows me to blend insights from the clinic to the laboratory and bridge the gap from bench to bedside.Currently I am a medical doctoral candidate interested in the role of the immune system in IBD, with a special focus on novel imaging techniques. As I continue on my professional journey, I am eager to explore new opportunities that align with my research interests and allow me to contribute significantly to the advancement of healthcare. I'm always open to new potential collaborations on research projects and STEM advocacy initiatives.
