As a freelance writer for more than 25 years, I've written nine books (5 for teens) and countless pieces for various outlets including ELLE (US & UK), Narratively, WELL+GOOD, Bustle, the Forward, and many more. My next book, SEX AND YOUR STARS: A SEXOLOGIST'S GUIDE TO THE EROTIC ENERGY OF THE ZODIAC, will be published by Sounds True in 2024. I'm also a professional astrologer and a certified clinical sexologist/sex coach - two arenas of expertise I often incorporate into my writing. I launched my Substack newsletter, PLEASURE CENTERS, in the summer of 2022 and have more than 4000 subscribers.I also write fiction, and wrote the first sci-fi short story ever to appear in the pages of GOOD Magazine. Since publishing my book ECO-SEX: GO GREEN BETWEEN THE SHEETS AND MAKE YOUR LOVE LIFE SUSTAINABLE in 2010, I've often focused on the sustainability & sexuality arena, in which I lead workshops, consult, and lecture. From art symposiums to panels at the Go Green Expo and lectures at the Green Festival or talks at Babeland, my expertise spans a wide sphere. I have radio and TV experience and am available for live or taped segments in NYC. I'm willing to travel, and often spend time in New Orleans, Miami, Los Angeles, and San Francisco. Beyond my own work as a writer and private practice as an astrologer and clinical sexologist, I also provide ghostwriting, editing, and copywriting services to other individuals/brands. I'm particularly interested in helping non-authors get their dream writing projects started. I offer full-service ghostwriting: from proposals to agent queries.
