• Working with Development Director and Principal to design and implement new opportunities/experiences for faculty and students, including: 1. Professional Learning Community (PLC) 2. Classroom Redesign Plan 3. Learning Garden• Design and implement 5th grade curriculum • Prepare and maintain lesson plans, semi-weekly assignment packets, and student records. • Create and analyze various types of assessments to gauge student learning. • Conference with parents and students regarding their academic progress. • Planning, implementation, and management of special 5th grade activities, including: 1. App Share Day-each student in the 5th grade becomes an “expert” on a specific app that is used in class. On App Share Day, they demo this app for parents and other students. 20 apps are shared that day. 2. Coffee Shop-student poetry readings and auction of student artwork. Proceeds from auction benefit a charitable organization of the 5th Grade’s choice. 3. Spirit Ship-students are immersed in the life of sailors in the 1800s as they role-play aboard the Spirit of Dana Point, in Dana Point Harbor. 4. Walk Through the Revolution-students dress up and participate in the program which “walks through” important events/people in the American Revolution.• Common Core Implementation Team (2013-Present)-serve as a member of a team of educators/administrative personnel whose purpose is to guide the faculty through the implementation of the Common Core Standards.• Holy Family School Technology Committee Member (2012-Present)- Serving on technology committee that worked to develop the technology plan for the school. In addition, serves as one of the lead teachers piloting new types of technology. • Website Coordinator (2007-2012)-Manage website content for the school website. • Choreographer for school musicals and dance/cheer coach for school teams (2008-Present).
