I work under the Chief Marketing Officer, VP of Marketing and VP of Strategy to assist in any capacity that may be needed. I manage calendars for multiple executives, set up meetings, lunches and organize contacts. I'm often asked do an extensive amount of research for upcoming projects and new initiatives. I assist the Marketing department with copy writing, job management, processing invoices and coordinating details and logistics for meetings and some events. I also help edit the game day program and work game nights with VIP guests or with general marketing duties.I work with Business Strategy on multiple projects, including but not limited to: qualtrics survey production, copy writing and general research.

Assist the Marketing Department in the following areas:- Working on the production and implementation of email tags- Submit content monthly for the e-newsletter- Coordinating radio and TV drops to run on the proper game nights as well as "ticker messages" that run in-arena- Create and submit talking points to local radio stations for game night use- Coordinate and get on-hold messages produced for the organization- Organized logistics and details for our bi-annual Hoops & Heels event

Work with visiting NBA team's Media Relations departments to ensure all media needs are met on game days. Facilitate media coverage for internal events through press releases, telephone calls and developing positive relationships with journalists and media. Communicate with the Community Relations department to ensure each community event has media coverage. Also work with the web development team to write content and drive web hits. Develop original content for the game day program, writing stories about players, dancers and community events. Assist communications team with any other duties assigned.

Responsible for aiding account managers with their daily duties. Proficiently wrote press releases, pitch letters and articles pertaining to clients in the travel and tourism industry. Comfortably and confidently spoke with clients and handled other phone duties. Performed research and gathered helpful and complete information.

Monitored the Media Workroom. Checked in media personnel at the Media Pass gate. Assisted the broadcast stations by running stats to their trucks quarterly. Worked additionally as an interview room monitor during the home coach press conference. Recorded and typed quotes when necessary. Helped with additional duties as needed.

Organized and compiled 10 years of media clippings into a systematized online and print format that is easily searched. Successfully gathered and organized more than 80 volunteers for the Dr. Phillips Center groundbreaking celebration through email and phone correspondence. Raised awareness of the center’s Facebook page to more than 1,000 followers through writing posts and responding to others posts. Attended and volunteered crucial city council meetings.
