Stefanie Spinelli DeSantis, CPA, RMA, has provided outstanding auditing services to New Jersey municipalities, school districts and utility authorities for over 20 years. Her experience keeps government officials informed and enables them to make decisions that positively impacts their communities.Many of her municipal and authority clients gain clarity concerning fundamental needs such as utility connection fee calculations, utility rate studies and advice on capital assets that may influence decisions regarding their budget. Stefanie can provide guidance on the pursuit and implementation of capital projects to meet the goals of the governing body. Stefanie is a Partner at Bowman & Company LLP and has served in a critical role of the firm’s Governmental Services Department since 2001. Stefanie is licensed as a Certified Public Accountant, Registered Municipal Accountant, and Public School Accountant in the state of New Jersey and holds the designation of Chartered Global Management Accountant. She earned a Bachelor of Science degree in Business Studies with a concentration in Public Accounting from Stockton University.As part of Stefanie’s dedication and commitment to the industry, she also serves as a specialist for Rutgers University’s Center for Government Services, is a member of the Registered Municipal Accountants' Association of New Jersey, the Gloucester County Association for School Business Officials, and the Gloucester County Dream Park Advisory Committee. Stefanie lives in Pittsgrove Township, Salem County, NJ with her husband, Ed and their two children. She was a long-time participant and now contributor to the 4-H Positive Youth Development and Mentoring Organization and enjoys giving back to the youth of her community. Finally, Stefanie is an avid equestrian and equine enthusiast.
