My career journey makes me a great asset to a team. Being a part of change and bringing others along to make an organization thrive is exciting. I have had the incredible opportunity to manage different programs and services, develop assessment and strategic planning and oversee budget management/revenue generation. My experiences also include overall facility management, including opening a new recreation center and managing a facility expansion. In addition, I have a passion for student and staff development, from hiring, supervising and evaluation of employees, to both soft skill and job skill training. Inspiring others to be excellent is part of my leadership style.My responsibilities have given me dynamic experience in human resources, risk management, special events and programming in the areas of aquatics, safety education, fitness, wellness, outdoor recreation and team building.My strengths are in training and development. Creating dynamic learning opportunities for individuals and teams and being able to assess learning allows me to help enhance an organization. Skills are transferrable, personality is not. I surround myself with people who are different and smarter than me. Growing great teams is one of the things I do best.
