After Sony Music Entertainment's purchase of Milan Entertainment Inc. in July 2019, I joined the Sony Masterworks/ Sony Classical team as VP of Milan Records. My focus is to acquire new soundtracks to films, TV series, and video games for distribution through Sony Music.

Alba Blue Music Services, LLC is a full-service film music company. We offer music publishing and music supervision services. Most recently we worked on Jiang Wen's "Hidden Men" and Fay Yu "Wings Over Everest."We work with film/TV production companies to provide all the necessary music resources for the successful completion of a project. This includes the following: Music Publishing:1) We release soundtrack albums physically in stores and digitally on all leading DSPs (Apple, Spotify, Amazon, Pandora, QQ, Netease...) through our partnership with Milan Records2) We register and collect domestic & international royalties related to the exploitation of film music, this includes public performance, mechanicals, and synchronization and more.Music Supervision:1) we find the right composer for the project and lead contract negotiation 2) we organize recording sessions and supervise mixing & delivery of the music3) we suggest and clear third-party licenses appropriate to include in the project

Developing new business opportunities with partners around the world, most importantly in Mainland China and Hong Kong. Such activities have generated significant revenues increases from territories in the past considered challenging and financially not attractive. Overseeing all day-to-day accounting, financial reporting, financial projections & analysis for effective financial planning.Reviewing and approving all master & mechanical royalty statements.Developing comprehensive financial models & projections to value each new project. Rebuilding and implementing formal budgeting, forecasting and reporting systems to measure and communicate performance results internally. Evaluating new potential media business partnerships and investment opportunities.

Leading acquisition and distribution activity of audio-visual content with a key focus on North America and Mainland China. Negotiating licensing fees and distribution agreements with film studios and independent film companies for the release of the soundtrack album to their film, TV and video game properties. Activities in Mainland China and Hong Kong resulted in the successful release of the soundtrack album to the record-breaking Chinese animation films "Monster Hunt 1" & "Monster Hunt 2," Zhang Yimou's "Shadow" and "The Great Wall" and many others.Activities in North America resulted in the successful release of the soundtrack to the Academy Award® winning films "Green Book," "The Ballad of Buster Scruggs," "The Revenant," "Birdman," "Hell Or High Water," "Manchester By The Sea," "Jackie" and many more; also resulted in a Grammy Award® for the soundtrack to "Birdman."

Set up Milan Entertainment's the film distribution arm. This resulted in the theatrical, DVD and TV release of documentary and live performance films.Negotiated licensing fees and distribution agreements with domestic and international production companies and sales agents for the release of their property incl. feature films and live performances. Resulted in the successful release of, among others, "Moro No Brasil," featuring Seu Jorge, "Screaming Masterpiece," featuring Bjork, and "Sanctuary: Lisa Gerrard."

Collaborated with producers and writers for the successful on-time completion of commercials targeted at the English and Spanish markets.Streamlined script changes between the client and the agency and communicated them to the production company. Resulted in considerable time savings.Quality-controlled all commercial spots for nationwide broadcast.

Assisted producers in the creation of five-minute informational clips for Creative Channel 101.Supplied and prepped material for editors in the post-production process.

Handled daily schedule, including setting-up meetings, and rolling calls.Analyzed screenplays, wrote coverage and pitched to company executives, which enabled me to participate in development meetings.

Assisted CEO - read scripts and wrote coverage; performed general office duties.
