About Stefan Moonen

I've developed experience in a multitude of programming languages since I've started developing professionally over 15 years ago. After mostly building PHP 5.x websites and Zend/Symfony applications in the beginning, I've shifted to mobile development around 2012. First using Appcelerator Titanium, where I quickly ran into its limitations. Then, using Xamarin which was still pretty fresh. I've been doing this mostly into 2018.Late 2018 I've shifted to a more full-stack approach, where I've also picked up ASP.NET Core development due to it's close affinity with Xamarin development.Besides this I've always had an interest in DevOps, and for my own small business I've always had my own projects to further enrich my knowledge with on all sorts of fronts. From UniFi and Windows Server deployments, to ESXi and Kubernetes clusters, and small programming jobs.Due to this experience with a lot of frameworks, languages and operations, I've decided to switch to a smaller company where there's a need for someone that can do a lot of different things proficiently.This new job requires me to apply my PHP skills to their existing application, C#/.NET and JavaScript/TypeScript skills for the development of new systems.
