My career as a software developer started in 1991 at the age of 15 years old when I wrote the first application for my father’s business. By the age of 19 my hobby grew into something bigger as by then I was officially an entrepreneur offering services to enterprises in Stuttgart. With a Bachelor’s Degree in Information Systems I have worked on IT projects involving Java, .NET, Microsoft and Unix technologies in over 20 countries across the globe.Having worked with different IT teams, in 2007 embarked on a search to build a development team with the goal of offering complete IT solutions on a greater scale and in much shorter time. Looking for an optimal ratio of development costs vs. quality of engineers I focused on Eastern Europe and first explored Slovakia by opening my first company office in Bratislava. The search hadn’t ended there and in 2010 I opened a new development office in Kiev, Ukraine, creating and supporting software applications for German and International companies such as DHL, Bosch, Porsche and WTS. Even as a Business Owner / Company Founder my roles also include those of the IT Architect, Product Owner, Agile Development Mentor and many others. Business Ownership motivates me in practicing Management 3.0 and constantly seeking better ways to engage employees, improve work processes, foster a can-do attitude - with the end goal always being a delighted customer. Consulting background helps in proactively identifying opportunities for improvement, analyzing and structuring the software delivery process. The role as an IT Architect allows to be involved in crafting software application from idea to completion, mentor the development team and to be a part of the software development process. Many years of software development experience helps in running development using the Agile methodology and coaching the team. As a result, our client needs are better served by the software solutions created by our development teams.
