As Managing Director, Stefano Blanco is directing and overseeing all administrative functions of the organization; he is providing leadership and vision to fulfill Foundation’s mission and to achieve its goals. During 2015 Managing Director of Expo Village at Expo Milano 2015Team and partnership building oriented, independent thinker, ready to challenge the conventional thought, Stefano Blanco has always been interested in education and training in multicultural contests. He is engaged in the development and dissemination of the principles of meritocracy and the international university system and is an active promoter of initiatives and projects aimed at promoting social mobility.
He has participated in some international projects on the education of young people in Europe and managed some big events around the world.
These passions and skills have granted him the chairmanship of the CCUM ( Conference of the Merit University Colleges- an association that brings together and represents the fourteen institutions that manage a total of 47 Colleges in Italy) and a permanent seat at the Expo2015 table, a monthly panel addressing, evaluating projects for Expo2015. Blanco is also a columnist for Corriere della Sera, the leading italian daily newspaper where he explores issues related to education and civic participation
