Responsible for System Requirements & Design:− Preparation of Stakeholder Requirements Specification: system concept of operations, capture of stakeholder requirements, analysis and refinement of key requirements and of those requirements affecting whole life costs, risk, make/buy/re-use, competitiveness and performance of the evolving system, definition of system interfaces− Preparation of Systems Functional Specification: definition of the system functionality, along with the associated interfaces and algorithms, set of rules and/or processes needed to implement the functionality− Preparation of System Requirements Specification: derivation of system and performance requirements, definition of Verification Cross Reference Matrix, definition of a strategy for system Integration, Verification, Validation and Acceptance− Trade-off and feasibility studies of Candidate Solutions and selection− System Design− Preparation of Sub-System Requirements Specifications− Suppliers Management, including: off-the-shelf products selection, monitoring of the supplier’s development process, and Configuration Management− Planning of Integration and Test Approach

Responsible for System Integration, Verification, Validation & Acceptance− Contribution to Test Plans− Preparation of Integration & Verification Test Specifications− Requirements Specification and Design of test rigs and other test equipment− Functional Requirements Specification and algorithms for avionic equipment software models to be used as a support during testing− Integration of Radio and Satellite Communication Systems− Integration of Mission Sensors (AIS, EO/IR Turret, RADAR, IFF Interrogator)− Preparation and agreement with the customer of Flight Test Requirements− Preparation and agreement with the customer of formal Validation & Acceptance Test Procedures− Execution under the customer’s witnessing of formal Validation & Acceptance testing at rig lab, on the aircraft on-ground, and on the aircraft in-flight− Documentation and analysis of test results − Investigation on any non-conformances highlighted during the analysis of test results and development of solution proposals
