Specialties: Carbon capture technologies / polymers and ionomers membranes and materials / electrospinning / fuel cell / water electrolyzerI am a creative and dynamic chemist and science is my passion. My aspiration is to work as leader of research, development and innovation (R&D&I) projects in a company or academic institution. I have an extensive professional experience in R&D&I within companies and research institutions. In this context, I have become knowledgeable in different fields including technologies for carbon capture, polymer chemistry, electrospinning and proton exchange membrane fuel cell and water electrolyzer. I have also acquired strong expertise in the elaboration and characterization of membranes based on both ionomers and polymers. Moreover, during my research activity I also experienced working with several analytical techniques. Nanomaterials, Metal Organic Framework, catalysis and spectroscopy are other subjects I have experience with. My professional activity has been very satisfying and fruitful resulting in the development of high performing products with properties largely exceeding those of the state-of-the art materials. The results obtained have been published in different scientific journals and presented at international conferences. In addition, I have strengthened my networking skills by working in multidisciplinary research teams within EU project frameworks in collaboration with several companies and universities. During my career, I had the opportunity to acquire strong leadership and problem solving skills also by coaching PhD and Master’s students. In the future I would like to keep working in the R&D&I industry. I am at ease in different multicultural environments and I am always willing to widen my knowledge.
