As a solutions' consultant to SAS Italy, I:- supported the customer in the analysis and implementation of the analytical front-end architecture, based on the integration of the SAS platform with the customer's data lake. Helped transitioning from an on-prem to an in-cloud solution by automating processes via Bash and SAS scripts. Provided post-migration support.- developed documented custom scripts in Python/SAS/Bash that either process client’s data or improve existing functionalities such as logging and user interaction with SAS software.- crafted templates of decision flow in SAS Intelligent Decisioning and SAS Event Stream Processing following the business logic provided by the customer.- modified and improved performance of data analysis pipelines in SAS Enterprise Guide provided by the customer.I have also contributed to the open source Python package sasctl, developed by the SAS Institute, which enables easy integration with the SAS Viya platform.

This was a Research Experience for Undergraduate (REU) program entitled Dynamics of Pattern Formation funded by the National Science Foundation (DMS-0806614). It was guided by Prof. Arnd Scheel and Postdoctoral Fellow Matt Holzer. We explored spatio-temporal pattern formation via invasion fronts in the one and two dimensional Keller-Segel chemotaxis model. Simulations show that solutions which begin near an unstable homogeneous equilibrium evolve into periodic patterns as time increases. These patterns form a quasi-equilibrium which by a secondary invasion process develops a new pattern with double the wavelength a process known as coarsening.
