President/Ceo
CurrentMy journey at Midwest Spine Institute began in 2006 after completing the Kenton D. Leatherman spine fellowship at the University of Louisville. My passion for patient care and physician networking has allowed me to build a large and successful practice and I have now performed over 4000 spinal surgeries encompassing a wide variety of areas including minimally invasive surgery, deformity, cervical, tumor and infection. In conjunction with my clinical practice I have always had a strong interest in business development and along with the leadership team at Midwest Spine developed several new office sites, implemented an electronic medical record, restructured the management team, added numerous mid-level providers, and talented physicians. This was instrumental in rapid expansion and dramatic increase in the exponential growth of the practice since 2006. Since 2012 I have served as President and CEO of Midwest spine. My primary focus continues to be the delivery of outstanding patient care, recruitment of talented surgeons, preparation for rapid changes in health care and building of strong symbiotic relationships with hospital systems throughout Minnesota and Western Wisconsin. In 2014 I successfully recruited two highly experienced Neurosurgeons (beginning practice in 2015) and began the practice name transition to The Midwest Spine and Brain Institute (official January 1st, 2015)
