SPAZIOMENSA è un artist-run space che nasce all’interno del CityLab971, laboratorio di rigenerazione urbana che ha sede negli spazi dell’ex-cartiera di Roma, un complesso architettonico per lungo tempo abbandonato e recentemente trasformato in un ambiente polifunzionale per la cultura.Grazie alla sua struttura dinamica di spazio relazionale, in cui le diverse pratiche artistiche possano dialogare e confrontarsi al di là delle divisioni disciplinari, SPAZIOMENSA vuole offrire una risposta energica alle esigenze della città.

Manifestazione estiva con forti caratterizzazioni sociali e di formazione, in cui laboratori ed eventi culturali sono curati da diversi partner di rilievo che si integrano nell’ecosistema del CityLab 971 (tra cui Legambiente-MondiPossibili, Eikon, Kill The Pig, SpazioMensa, APS Tavola Rotonda, Festina Lente, Numero Cromatico, Filosofia in Movimento, Sinestetica, Compagnia Versus, RomaFotografia, Progetto Nautilus).

Artist in Rome Experience is strictly connected to the positive trend linked to the “travel event” phenomenon: an audience that has been continuously, exponentially growing in the last few years, ranging from 16 to 45 years and older, that saves and plans its holidays basing upon this kind of events. A week of events held in the urban fabric of one, single city that offers different music and artistic genres and experiences that directly involve the audience. Collaborating with local realities contributes to a further promotion and communication of the different appointments, allowing special insights dedicated to the exhibition and the appreciation of local artists.The project contains numerous and different artistic proposals, selected in the previous months via direct or indirect (through the involved partners) open calls. Unpublished works of Italian emerging artists are rewarded, being complemented by the works of already affirmed artists.An “Urban Festival” with concurrent events that will map the city with music, contemporaneous performances and visual arts as protagonists.Artist in Rome Experience sums up artistic content and extremely innovative technologies, becoming a melting pot where companies can participate too, in order to understand contemporary trends and to be stimulated with new creative ideas: a completely new type of fair, a meeting that combines business and entertainment.

Amore Experience is an event developed in non-conventional spaces, dedicated to the fusion of contemporary music, art and culture. A real meeting place, a space that fulfills an important opportunity for dialogue and exchange, LPM encourages research, experimentation, the encounter between different forms of artistic expression, the interaction of multiple techniques and digital technologies, analog, software and hardware.LPM is an unmissable spectacle during which the audience has the chance to meet the world’s largest selection of artists active in the field of live video performances.Vj, artists, designers, professionals and the audience will be involved in the manifold planned activities: from experimental audiovisual performances, architectural mapping shows, and VJ-DJ Sets to workshops, roundtables, and presentations of products and hardware, with a special regard for Free and Open Source projects. Meeting areas devoted to the interaction among the hundreds of participants will be the corollary for the whole duration of the event.

Live Cinema Festival è una rassegna di cinema dal vivo che indaga e promuove tutti i fenomeni artistici cui si attribuisce il termine “Live Cinema”, attraverso le esibizioni di artisti che hanno fatto di questa tecnica narrativa la loro cifra stilistica.Live Cinema Festival è un progetto artistico che annovera tra i suoi principali obiettivi la valorizzazione del territorio e la promozione di contenuti artistici che possano coinvolgere attivamente i giovani, fornendo stimoli che possano influenzare positivamente le loro vite.Live Cinema Festival è una manifestazione che riflette lo spirito dell’epoca in cui la tecnologia ha invaso ogni aspetto della nostra vita: in questo caso, un’epoca in cui macchine, arte e tecnologia si uniscono per diffondere nuovi messaggi e nuove prospettive, proponendo un nuovo immaginario, abbattendo le frontiere tra il mezzo e il contenuto, manipolando immagini e utilizzando diverse tecniche di approccio alla creazione del contenuto finale, frutto dell’improvvisazione e dell’abilità degli artisti.Le due edizioni di Live Cinema Festival, la prima negli spazi del Teatro Quarticciolo nel 2014 e la seconda in Piazza dell’Immacolata a San Lorenzo nel 2015, hanno offerto al pubblico una panoramica delle diverse modalità di interpretare il Live Cinema, attraverso 28 performance di 26 artisti/gruppi artistici internazionali, per un totale di 45 artisti partecipanti, provenienti da: Germania, Italia, Paesi Bassi, Polonia, Repubblica Ceca, Turchia, Regno Unito, Belgio, Spagna, Grecia, Austria, Bielorussia.Live Cinema Festival fa parte del progetto AVnode | LPM 2015 > 2018, Large Scale Cooperation Project co-finanziato dal programma cultura Creative Europe dell’Unione Europea, tra 13 partner provenienti da 12 paesi: Austria, Belgio, Repubblica Ceca, Germania, Grecia, Ungheria, Italia, Paesi Bassi, Polonia, Spagna, Turchia e Regno Unito.
