With over 10 years of experience in the cruise industry, I am a passionate and dedicated manager of medical services at Carnival Maritime, the marine service unit of the Costa Group. My mission is to ensure the highest standards of health and safety for guests and crew, as well as to optimize the medical processes and systems on board and ashore. I have a master's degree in critical care nursing, and a strong background in medical compliance, and IT.As a manager of medical services, I am responsible for collecting and reporting data, advising and governing the medical operations, participating in crisis response and internal audits, developing and executing new projects, and evaluating and advising on special medical needs. I am also a subject matter expert for the SeaCare® electronic health record, managing its full implementation, integration, administration, support, and enhancement on board of the company's vessels. In addition, I am getting certifications in project management, and I use my skills to plan, coordinate, and deliver effective and efficient medical solutions.
