I have a great passion for informatics and I started working in IT in 1995.My first job was as a PLC developer; following the path through VB C# and FoxPro developer, senior developer and project manager for laboratory information management systems (LIMS) now my current role is ICT Operations Manager & System Administrator.I have technical knowledge and proficiency in:• System Administration• virtualization• hardware maintenance• Microsoft Windows Server• OS configuration• technical support• Active Directory servicesI also have knowledge in:• Linux Server• SQL Server, MySQL/MariaDB• structured network cabling (LAN/WAN)• network maintenance• software development and debugging• LIMS and instrument communication protocolsAlways providing an efficient and effective service to customers and coworkers, I always try to understand their needs and requirements, working to exceed these wherever possible.I use every learning and training opportunity I can find to enhance my skills.
