About Stefano Monaco

I'm in Salesforce since 2015 where I have been helping to power digital transformation projects in the consumer industries to enable B2C and B2B2C organisations to move faster by connecting their employees, partners and customers.In 2018 I launched the Retail, Consumer Goods and Travel & Hospitality team in the Commercial BU, where we hyper-grew our business and the team from 4 AEs in 2018 to 16 AEs and 1 Sales Director by the beg of 2021.In 2021 I had the privilege to join a startup project within Salesforce called the Business Acceleration Team as VP of Global Sales with the mission to: - bring a deeper industry approach and focus on a set of under penetrated industries and high-potential accounts;- pioneer Salesforce strategic alliance with McKinseySince 2023 I am leading the new Digital Team aligned to the Italian Commercial BU with the mission to support our customers to unlock their data potential and develop a unified digital experience augmented by AI across their digital marketing and B2C commerce touchpoints. Prior to joining Salesforce, I worked in the research & consulting sector where I got the chance to work with some of the most recognised industry/ technology SME globally and CxOs from leading enterprise organisations. My mindset and approach are driven by three basic elements:- trust: honesty, transparency and full commitment as the basis for mutually profitable relationships with customers, colleagues and partners;- resourcefulness: structured approach balanced with creativity, entrepreneurship and positivity to bring new ideas, overcome obstacles and emphasise strengths;- curiosity: sacrifice, work and preparation rarely fail. I believe in the 80/20 rule of listening to bring relevant and concrete solutions. I have an International background having studied and worked in different countries such as Australia, The Netherlands and France before moving back to Italy.
