Hello! 👋 I am Stefano, a PhD researcher in Economics at NMBU, specializing in:🌍 Carbon storage market analysis⚡ Direct Air Capture (DAC) and electricity market dynamics📊 Econometrics of emissions and emission forecastingI have a background in Economics and Finance from Università del Salento, where I completed my Master’s thesis on the efficiency of human capital and productivity growth in European countries using advanced econometrics techniques, particularly Data Envelopment Analysis (DEA).I use R extensively for numerical simulations and econometric modeling in my research. My work focuses on:Carbon Storage Market: I simulate competition between CO2 storage providers in the North Sea, exploring how carbon pricing can affect Carbon Capture and Storage (CCS) costs and competition dynamics.Direct Air Capture and Electricity Markets: I analyze costs of DAC technologies, with an emphasis on how their energy demand interacts with future electricity market trends.Emissions Forecasting: I apply econometric models to forecast emissions using variables such as oil, gas, and coal usage, alongside macroeconomic indicators like GDP and capital stock.
