About Stefano Zugno
I’m an Italian packaging designer. I grew up in the town of Treviso, close to the most beautiful city in the world, Venice.I moved to Milan at the age of 23, where I worked for my design idol, Matteo Ragni, learning how to create handcraft projects and started moving my first steps into the world of design.In 2011 I took my degree in Design and Arts at the IUAV University of Venice and two years later I finished my Master’s Degree in Design & Engineering at the Milan’s Politecnico.In the 2015, I moved to London where I worked for Morph under the direction of Bill Holding and Ben Cox, collaborating in the development of marvellous kitchenware projects.I moved my first steps in packaging design at PET Engineering, a Packaging Research Center based in Treviso.Today, I work as creative packaging designer at SIPA, the packaging division of Zoppas Industries S.p.A.I am spending most of my professional hours being creative on behalf of global beverage brands.Why I became a designer? I think I was born for that, is just something related to my natural sensibility. In my personal time I enjoy mountain sports, photography and, of course, I'm always looking for the next trip to book.
