Stefan works as RF Engineer at ACST GmbH in Hanau am Main where he focuses on microwave and terahertz AMC/source system design, documentation and measurement. He is also responsible for development of passive waveguide components (e.g. horn antennas, directional couplers, variable attenuators, etc.) for mm wave and THz frequencies. Experience with Autodesk Fusion 360, Ansys HFSS, spectrum analysers, VNA with VNA extenders, measurement setup creation and troubleshooting. He has recently completed his MEng Mechatronics degree with 1st honours at the University of Glasgow, with MEng thesis designing microstrip antenna for space applications. Was two years the Student-Staff Liaison Committee representative for his class group of Mechanical Engineering. Stefan was the Communications System team leader at GUOrbit. He also worked as teaching assistant in VLSI Design, Electromagnetic Compatibility and Real Time Computer Systems classes at James Watt School of Engineering, University of Glasgow. Before, he held the position of Engineering Intern (3 consecutive summers) at a fire resistance testing laboratory for building materials in Slovakia, where he gained experience in the areas of software development, SCADA/HMI systems, fire resistance testing (NSHEV, SBI), wind tunnel facility and aerodynamics, technical normalisation and calibration.Speaks English (high proficiency) and Spanish and German with basic proficiency.Winner of 2017 Slovak National Philosophy Olympiad
