My career started with accounting, taxes, consolidation and financial management.A good base for moving into business development & M&A leading to project management, complex power transmission projects, service and after sales. From there the step was short to strategic business development and sales. During more than 20 years with ABB I worked in several multicultural organizations and in complex matrixes. I have tested and lived through most organizational theories, tried countless reorganizations and ended up understanding that it is all about the people, the teams and the motivation. Then I got the opportunity at Alimak Group. A pioneer and world leader in their field of business. 2 very global BSEK business based on entreprenuers, just acquired by the private equity group Triton. My journey started with M&A / Business Control, moved to Group CFO and then taking the Group public in June 2015 (Ticker: ALIG). From 2017 I was the COO & Deputy CEO after we doubled the Group via two acqusitions. That brought new operational challenges and integration which continued all the way into 2020. From end 2020 I moved over to a completely new business line with Consolis. Prefab concrete with all its sustainability challenges? Am I nuts? But this is a challenge that I could not resist and there we are....so much to learn and do with so little time... better get started. Acquired skills: Managing large and complex global projects, Negotiations & Sales, Mergers & Acquisitions, IPO's, Controlling & Strategic Planning and recently also the inner-life of production, design, R&D, sourcing, quality and sustainability.
