I work on a marketing team of copywriters, designers, and editors. Content output is planned in 2-week “sprints” (based on the Agile method) and covers everything from social media clips to entire live audience productions. I handle the planning, producing, and distribution of video and photo content for our marketing goals. I also provide voiceover, audio, design, and copywriting services as it relates to the content. I manage our Frame.io archive of projects and raw footage, a virtual studio, a local studio, plus WordPress, Loomly, and other content calendar tools.

From Development through Distribution, I do whatever needs to be done while leveraging talent and team members in an optimal way. My portfolio spans political campaigns, 501c nonprofits, small business marketing, and corporate marketing. I have also produced a wealth of pro-bono content for live music performances, ballet, and artistic music videos. As needed, I handle or delegate the hiring of team members, crew, and talent, as well as obtaining permitting, licensing, and permissions required. I build each project to budget, time, and scope while tracking inventory, expenses, and work hours. Strong client rapport and clear, frequent communication are essential to ensure optimal results, an enjoyable experience, and trust for future work. “Familiar Portraits” is the portion of my business which focuses exclusively on portrait photography.

I create social media posts for small businesses. Posts are typically lightweight, fresh, and relevant content that focus on the conversation around the client’s product or service. When opportune, the client may request to run tasteful CTAs. I monitor audience activity, engagement, and other metrics with Facebook Analytics and Page Tools.

I filmed weddings, engagements, and couples sessions all over Colorado. Working with a wide range of lenses on Sony cameras, I used gimbals, tripods, and monopods for camera motion. I operated an array of sound gear to capture ceremony audio as well as supplemental vocals and ambient audio from the day. All equipment was provided by Epic’s Denver office, with an inventory report and assessment completed upon return. All captured files were offloaded to Epic’s post-production team. After each shoot, I performed a QA check with an Epic editor to touch base on my performance.

I photographed every type and size of property, utilizing both still photography and Matterport 3D scans. At the end of each day, I coordinated with Walkthrough’s post-production team to transfer the captured files as well as the contextual metadata to them. Equipment was provided by Walkthrough and I managed my own schedule.

Tallahassee, Florida

My key responsibilities were scriptwriting, camera operation, post-production, and event photography. I also wrote and animated informative cartoons for their Facebook page weekly. As the Media Outreach Coordinator, I helped direct live events, plus the Center’s web and social media profiles. This involved the research, gathering, and distribution of content relevant to the Center. I developed a formula-based spreadsheet to schedule future projects and track deadlines.

I cut and assembled wood and plastic segments for custom frames as well as stretched-canvas prints. I used Photoshop and other software to reproduce customers’ photos on different mediums of paper, canvas, and in formats up to 44” wide. I scanned images into a digital format and also performed minor photo restoration. I maintained five different printers and their color profiles. I photographed customer portraits, passport/visa photos, large-format photocopy, and occasionally real-estate. This was a seasonal position but I continued to assist them on special projects as needed.

My job mostly revolved around the front desk at First American’s corporate office in Tallahassee. I directed calls and handled all mail for over 150 employees. For general duties, I coordinated with vendors, handled building maintenance, maintained the mailroom and kitchen facilities, and organized company events. I also monitored the security cameras, checked-in guests, administered security badges, and helped develop the building’s emergency evacuation protocols.

I assisted the Management team in maximizing sales, both individually and as a team. I was not only expected to help others meet their sales goals, but also to achieve my own level of expectation. I was in charge of maintaining our warehouse, its SKU codes, and the store’s entire inventory.
