As a project manager I am responsible for several in-house projects for ASML.

I am working as a project manager for TomTom (www.tomtom.com) within the Renault program. In that role I am responsible for the development of several software features for the R-Link product (http://automotive.tomtom.com/en/success-stories/renault/renault-r-link). This product is used in a number of Renault car lines like the Zoe, Clio as well as in the Daimler Smart and some General Motors light commercial vehicles.My main responsibilities are:- Timely delivery of (embedded) software- Quality and scope of the delivered software- Close interaction with customer and suppliers- Alignment with program management, sales, product management, SW and HW teams, legal and procurement- Getting commitment on deliverables from both internal and external parties- Requirements gathering, negotiating, quoting and planning of new software release- Outsourcing parts of the work to international suppliers

In this period I worked for ASML (www.asml.com). I had the lead in several projects:Developing and maintaining an off-line metrology analyzer:It was my responsibility to get clarity in requirements, create and maintain the project plan, lead the development team of five people and communicate with the stakeholders.Introducing an on-line metrology analyzer at a customer in the United States:I took part in the selection process and was responsible for the roll out of the selected software in the customers R&D environment. The selected software came from a German supplier and had to be customized to the customers need and ASML environment. The project involved a lot of international conference calls to align the stakeholders and get the final ok.Developing a new on-line metrology analyzer platform (Litho InSight):In this position I was repsonsible for the development of a new software platform for a new on-line metrology analyzer. Together with architects and system engineers I got the requirements clear and lead three development teams of five person each. Two of those 'scrum' teams were situated in Dresden (Germany). As project manager I was off-course also responsible for maintaining the project plan and reporting to program management.Managing the integration and testing of the on-line metrology solution:As release project manager I was responsible for timely integration of the different software deliveries of about six scrum teams. Alpha testing and maintaining the test environment was also part of my responsibility as well as keeping an eye on the balance between quality and time to market and advising the program team on this matter.

Managed several internal software development projects. These projects started with a fixed price bid and were followed by the actual software development. It was my responsibility to manage the projects within budget and time.

In this job it’s my responsibility to manage different projects for ECT (www.ect.nl). The total team size is 13 people. The work differs from simple tasks to a complete web migration of several years. Beside new projects, the team is also responsible for maintenance, change requests and 24x7 support.

During this period I worked as a teammanager for InTraffic on the KBV project. This project worked according to the prince II methods. The team consisted out of 6 softwaredeveloppers and 2 testengineers. As a team we stood for developping robust and safe code for the dutch railways. This was done according to SIL level 1. The code was part of the ERTMS signalling systerm of the betuweroute.

During this period I worked for ICT Solutions as a Senior Technical Developer on the following Projects:Test Management System (TMS) for Siemens mobile As the name partly reveals, this software product enables it's users with the management tasks of testing a cellphones.Koppeling Beveiliging21 VPT+ (KBV) for InTracffic.This software product is used by the Ducth railways on the Betuweroute and the track Utrecht - Amsterdam (Schiphol). It acts as a interface between the train traffic control software and the ERTMS signaling software (Alstom and Bombardier).

During this period I work for ICT Soluitons as Technical Developer on a project for Rijkswaterstaat. The software product I worked on (WATPAS) runs on a handheld computer and enables the user to gather geographical data from a so called nivelator. The data is stored in a central database and is used for monitoring the excact heights of about 50.000 locactions in the Netherlands.

During this period I worked for ICT Solutions as a Senior Software Engieer on the following projects:Calamiteiten Afhandelings Systeem (CAS) for AKZO Nobel chemicals. This software product supplies information to the safetymanagers in case of gas leakages and helps them take the correct actions.TRAXIS for Alstom. This software product enables railway service engineers to service railway traction systems. The software gives access to the parameters of the traction system and also enables to graphically visualise parameters.

During this period I was on a sabbatical leave.

As a software developper I worked on a number of projects for taxitronic. These projects included: GSM communication, automatic seat detection, automation of the Utrecht Taxicentral (UTC) and Chipper/Chipknip implementation. I was responsible for the software in the taxiterminal as well as PC software.
