I founded a company with a partner to bring online services that had proven successful in Europe and the US to the Middle East. Our biggest product was Ndoors, real estate listing platform with user reviews of buildings and areas. I built the listing platform. We did not have a development team in place so I set up the data base, built the website and integrated third party feeds for the listings (PHP, Sass, Javascript, XML etc.). I built a business case for the local market, scouted for hotel partners (delivered one signed MoU), and agreed commercial terms with 10+ platform partners to deliver their services to hotel guests for a commission.

Since this was a new function in the business it was the first time we set targets for and measured the sales impact of these activities.
