Current• Serves as a Charge Nurse, overseeing the daily operations of the PACU, managing patient flow, and ensuring optimal utilization of resources• Provide leadership and guidance to nursing staff, ensuring the delivery of safe, efficient and patient-centered care• Coordinate patient assignments, prioritize tasks, and troubleshoot issues to maintain a smooth workflow and achieve departmental goals• Collaborate with the healthcare team to develop and implement quality improvement initiatives, contributing to enhanced patient outcomes and satisfaction• Act as a resource and mentor to staff, providing support, education, and feedback to promote professional growth and excellence in nursing practice• Perform comprehensive patient assessment, monitor vital signs, and manage post-operative pain and complications• Administer treatments as ordered, ensuring accurate documentation and adherence to safety protocols• Conducts patient and family education on medical equipment use prior to discharge by ensuring safety and confidence
